Without a doubt, London is home to amazing restaurants to satisfy anyone’s tastes. One of the world’s largest melting pots, London is packed with dining experiences from every country that fit into any budget.
That’s why we’ve made a list of some of the standout dining establishments in the city. Whether you’re heading to London on vacation, for a business trip, or you’re a local looking to try something new, we’ve got you covered.
1. Aubaine
For modern French cuisine with a London twist, visit Aubaine at any of its locations. Perfect for dinner after a day exploring Hyde Park, Aubaine offers great food at any time of the day—whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, or cocktails. Don’t even get us started on the decor—it’s definitely worthy of a spot in your Instagram feed. Beautiful interiors, delicious classics – you can’t go wrong.

3. The Hummingbird Bakery
Home to the best American-style cupcakes in London, The Hummingbird Bakery also sells books, gifts, and utensil sets. With locations in Portobello Road Market, Soho, as well as just around the corner from the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum, there are plenty of opportunities to check it out and grab some saliva-inducing cupcakes and baked goods.

5. Three Little Birds
Opened in 2015 by former The Apprentice contestant April Jackson, Three Little Birds is cafe and rum bar where you can indulge in some killer Jamaican-inspired cuisine. Visit either of their two locations to celebrate the island’s cuisine, music, and culture. They serve up a nice mix of classic Caribbean dishes, sharing plates, and have one of the most comprehensive rum programs in the city.

6. Taquiera
What started as a small stall at Notting Hill Market is now one of the best Mexican restaurants in London. Ecologically-minded, Taquiera uses ingredients so fresh they practically still have a pulse (just kidding) — free-range chicken, line-caught fish, organic prawns, and locally-farmed pork and steak. For those looking for a cocktail they can’t find anywhere else, Taquiera also serves hand-shaken margarita and have a great selection of 100% blue agave tequilas, mezcals, micheladas, and wines.

7. Little Viet Kitchen
Golden Chopsticks’ Restaurant of the year, Little Viet Kitchen offers Vietnamese food from acclaimed chef and author of the award-winning Little Viet Kitchen Cookbook, Thuy Diem Pham.
Her restaurant’s mission is simple: to bring the dishes unique to the small Vietnamese village where she comes from to a larger market. If you want authentic Vietnamese cuisine done right, this is a must-add to your London restaurant list.
